Beautiful thoughts as usual, my friend.

I find it unbelievable (to say the least) that none of these judges question the validity of the husband's claim, nor has any serious consideration been given to credible affidavits about abuse, and medical information about her state of consciousness.

What is wrong with letting her live, at least until these matters have been investigated. If she truly wanted to die (which I doubt), there would be plenty of time to honor her wishes.

I cannot believe this is happening. I haven't responded much to posts, but I am appalled.

I've tried to stay out of it...but in the final hours...I can't.

For over 12 years I worked as a volunteer Hospice worker. I only worked with children and aids patients (at a time when no one else wanted to).

One of my patients (actually by the end..one of my friends) couldn't handle the pain any longer..and decided to remove their feeding tube and the I.V.'s keeping them alive. Almost to the end they were lucid.

I watched my friend die slowly from starvation.

Regardless of what you hear from some...it is NOT (I repeat..NOT) a pleasant way to go.

If Terry Schiavo is in any way awake ....she is feeling a lot of pain from this.

It is wrong.
