Too bad, Mr. President, but you're just plain wrong. You have a nation to protect - not a global economic bloc.
"I'm for enforcing the law in a rational way."
THEN DO IT!
President Bush yesterday said he opposes a civilian project to monitor illegal aliens crossing the border, characterizing them as "vigilantes."
Do your job Mr. President and secure our borders or we'll get somebody who will.
Gotta keep wages artificially suppressed somehow.
this is outrageous PING
Don't blame Fox. He's just doing his job which is to look out for Mexico. Blame Bush. It is his job to put the well being of this country ahead of cheap labor and he's not doing it.
The first terrorist attack we have by individuals coming across the border from Mexico Bush will have hell to pay. He's got blinders on and is ignoring the dangers surrounding his misguided policy. His hardheaded attitude on this issue will be his undoing.
This plays right into Hellary's hands. Just plain stupid..we are being INVADED
Bush could always try to send troops in to stop Americans from protecting their own country, and in the process get impeached post haste. That is if it doesn't start a Revolution. His idiocy in regards to our Borders is beyond appalling.
I have grown tired of Mr Bush on immigration and the rule of law.
Can someone please explain Bush's apparent lack of logic on border control?
If our government enforced the laws on our books, we wouldn't be in this situation.
I wonder what the possibility of victims of illegal aliens' crimes suing personally those responsible to enforce immigration laws might do to change some attitudes.
Between murdering Terry Schiavo and kowtowing to our enemies, I've just about lost interest in the continued government of the United States.
Why not just not build a four lane highway through the fence in Nogales all the way to Tucson with water and taco stands along with a food stamp kiosk and be done with the Border Patrol.
Vigilantes? No Mr. President...the Minutemen are American citizens (your bosses) assisting in the enforcement of our duly enacted immigration laws...our Founders would have called them part of the citizen militia
From Madison's Federalist 46 speaking of the danger of an oppressive federal government backed by its regular military:
"To these would be opposed a militia amounting to near half a million of citizens with arms in their hands, officered by men chosen from among themselves, fighting for their common liberties, and united and conducted by governments possessing their affections and confidence."
I'm with you on this one. This could be the GOP's undoing.
So when it really comes down to it, Bush supports Mexicans instead of American citizens. Why did I vote for the aHole?
