I've seen some of the German propoganda from the WWII era posted here over the last few days. One of the most stark American (government) posters of the time, shows several children cowering with the giant shadow of a swastika descending upon them.

The poster says "Don't Let It Touch Them", or something to that effect.

And then today, I saw kids in handcuffs.

The "powers that be" understand the power of symbols and collective memory for control of a population. They are trying to kill an innocent person and let all the world see to emphasize and highlight their power.

Their evil knows no bounds.
