Every Democrat talking head had the talking points about the "talking points" down by noon Saturday.

I warned ABC and NBC - advised them they could learn much from the Rather memo hoax without suffering as CBS did. Looks like they didn't listen.
ABC, meet POWERLINE. Enjoy.

its odd... I did some digging, and ended up at the ABC's online story about the "memo" they DO NOT link to a pdf or a jpg to download... they just have the memo transcribed on their site.
I guess they learned from Rather, but what are they hiding?

At the very least, ABC has publicized a document whose ORIGIN is INSUBSTANTIATED. It could have been composed and distributed by the Democrats, and there's no PROOF that that isn't the case.

Harry Reid should be under an ethics investigation for this.

The document, which was posted online by ABC News, as well as several Democratic-leaning websites, was unsigned, bore no Senate office letterhead, and was rife with errors, including the incorrect Senate bill number and the misspelling of Schiavo's name.
And how many "true conservatives" here jumped on this immediately as though it really was from the GOP? Answer: Quite a few.

Rush is hitting this now. It is gaining steam. If Rush mentions it, Hannity will and then Fox will get it and it will roll baby.

might be a good one for a general-interest ping. The so-called GOP Schiavo memo is an apparent forgery.
