The entire world is watching this entire drama unfold right before their eyes and many are absolutely horrified and chilled beyond belief at what they see.
When a great nation such as ours starts to dehumanize individuals in the way that Terri is being dehumanized in an organized effort to rationalize the killing off of those members of our society who are sick, disabled, no longer productive, "have worthless lives or lives not worth living" or "wish to die".
It is a sad day a very dark day in history.
The World's Superpower and Champion of Human Rights around the globe is starving and dehydrating a disabled woman to death and underage children who bring her water are being handcuffed and arrested.
Does that sum it up? Did I miss anything?
If China decides to put a bullet in the brain of all their retarded school children tomorrow, what can we say or do?
Next time we want to whine because Libya or Egypt is on the United Nations human rights council we better learn to bite our lip.

Excellent post!! And yes, it sure sums it up. Did you see the photo of the Concentration camp survivor who was also arrested. That caused another heartfelt round of sobs from me.
I can't bear to see the pain and horror my country is enduring due to a single Judge, a single attorney and a lousy so called husband who might have started all of this pain in 1990.
Today has been another roller-coaster of hope and tears. I worry for Terri's parents. I can't imagine the literal hell they are going thru. I've never cried this much in my entire life.
I pray that tomorrow will bring a safe place for Terri to get the help she needs. I really believe she can eat. She does swallow her saliva. Wouldn't it be great if she was treated to ice cream or jello. I just love her so much.
Trying to be optimistic.
Let me tell you about my day. I work with a large Hispanic family, who have a disabled little girl. I was over there today.
When I saw the news reports and the glee of the death freaks, I couldn't take it , I had an emotional outburst. The family doesn't follow current events, they are mostly young, teens to mid 20's, and their grandma (they watch MTV or the movie channels most of the time) so they wondered what I was upset about.
I apologized to them for my temporary loss of composure, and explained just the basic details of Terri's case to them. They said how awful it must be for the family and why won't anyone stop it? I said I didn't know. I shrugged my shoulders and went into the other room, figuring they'd change the channel to MTV or some other channel.
I went back to the room where they were, sometime later, and to my surprise, they still had the TV on FOX news and all of them were watching .
They didn't change the channel for the entire day. They asked me questions throughout the time about the details of the case and they called friends and relatives about it. They were shocked , shocked by the site of Terri and her parents, they said Terri's not PVS, she responds, smiles, interacts, much more that their child does. They couldn't believe children were being arrested and led away in handcuffs for trying to bring her water.
They watched all the way through Hannity and Colmes show. When the young mother of the disabled girl, saw Terri, she touched the TV screen and said "is this the angel? Look she's smiling," and said a prayer for her in Spanish and crossed herself. She did the same when she saw Terri's parents on the screen. She said they looked tired and it must be awful. Their grandmother went to church to light a candle for all of them(Terri & her family).
The mother asked me why "that damn Bush" wasn't doing anything to help. I said he was trying, and said his brother was trying. I pointed out that the Republican's were mostly trying to save Terri, while the democrats were mostly trying to kill her. She was surprised to hear that. She's been brainwashed by the democrat propaganda. (It runs rampant through the Hispanic communities out here in California. I don't talk politics with them unless there's something really serious going on , then I might make a point or two.) She was even more surprised to learn that gov. Bush is the president's brother. She asked again- Can't they save her? I said, I think so, but I don't know. I told her this is a very bad time in our country. She asked me how could anyone stop the governor and DCF from taking custody, again, I said I didn't know.
She went over and held her daughter and asked me if what happened to Terri in Florida, could happen to her daughter here, could a judge take her daughter's feeding tube out? and I said no because she's the guardian. She was still nervous .
I am so outraged and saddened by this. I talked to my mom and she said upon seeing the pictures of the children being handcuffed and taken away "Where am I? I can't be in America. Where am I?"
Mark this date, because I think it will become important in history:
March 23 2005 - A 10 year old child (and his family) were arrested, patted down, handcuffed and hauled away in the back of a police car for trying to be bring a cup of water to a disabled woman being starved and dehydrated to death by court order.
