I may be wrong becuase I only heard the tail end of it...but I believe the Florida Department of Child Protective Services has taken custody of Terri Schiavo.

I say this because the last line of the report on CNN radio at the top of the 8 o'clock hour was...
"Florida judge George Greer could order sheriff's deputies to go and take back custody of the woman."

Can anyone confirm this?

Well, the statute says they don't need a court to allow them to remove someone from harm and I have been hoping that this would end up saving her

Maybe it was a hypothetical statement, in case they DO take her. Unfortunately, that seems unlikely, unless Jeb had a change of heart from his earlier statements today.
