How long wilt Thou forget me, O Lord? Forever?
How long wilt Thou hide Thy face from me?
How long shall I take counsel in my soul,
having sorrow in my heart daily?
How long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?
Consider and hear me, O Lord my God;
lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;
Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him;
and those who trouble me rejoice when I am moved.
But I have trusted in Thy mercy;
my heart shall rejoice in Thy salvation.
I will sing unto the Lord,
because He hath dealt bountifully with me.
Refrain: Great is Thy faithfulness! Great is Thy faithfulness! Morning by morning new mercies I see; All I have needed Thy hand hath provided Great is Thy Faithfulness, Lord unto me.
2. Summer and winter and spring-time and harvest, Sun, moon and stars in their courses above join with all nature in manifold witness To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.
Refrain 3. Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth, Thy own dear presence to cheer and to guide, Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow, Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside!
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
Psalm 23
Refrain Up from the grave He arose, With a mighty triumph oer His foes, He arose a Victor from the dark domain, And He lives forever, with His saints to reign. He arose! He arose! Hallelujah! Christ arose!
Vainly they watch His bed, Jesus my Savior; Vainly they seal the dead, Jesus my Lord!
Refrain Death cannot keep its Prey, Jesus my Savior; He tore the bars away, Jesus my Lord!
