Agreed with most of what you've stated, and glad you are not among those looking to hold Jeb and the Reps up as responsible for the highest evil in the land.
My main difference is whether this is in Jeb's power to stop. If it is God's will, he'll intervene. If not, I'm assuming he has another purpose. I do not believe Jeb would defy His will on this.
I believe he does have the power. How many times do we not obey because of fear of man?
He already told us what to do....give drink to the thirsty in my name. He does this - rescues Terri - eyes have not seen nor ears have heard how God will bless those that love Him - strictly by faith. Jeb has fought the good fight but he didn't finish the race....he's obeying man's rules, not God's, of course this is my humble opinion. Let God deal w/the consequences. He doesn't need Greer's approval - it would be nice - but if he had his approval on anything - we wouldn't be chatting about his - I truly believe Jeb has God's blessings in store if He saves Terri. Jesus says - He would die for just one of us. You can't play it safe in this evil world while corruption abounds - this is exactly how we got in this mess - there is no 'waiting until the next time - the time is now to act. If others do radical things for evil - why should we not do something radical for good. And I don't believe getting Terri to safety is radical...it is simple the right thing to do.
