Not blaming anyone. Everyone is accountable for their actions. Yes, the culture has reached way past the half-way point. Knowing this - it needs to be dealt with. Not later - now. This is the opportunity. If not, again we did nothing and, again, the judiciary is strength - just like you say.

no human on this earth is more powerful than the evil we are against, only God holds that form of power.
NO SO! Don't give evil more power - God gives us an opportunity to act - through faith - and know when you save one of His - give drink to the thirsty in My Name - His Command IT IS His will - and He takes care of the consequences - take fear out of the picture. Go in faith.

Jeb is the only one that can do something. The othets are cemented in their ways - against good. We bow to that?

Look, when Terri is safe, then you can cry about it.

Well, the governor has the right to commute the death sentence of convicted criminals, so why can't he do the same for an innocent person?

The judge specifically ordered Terri killed, he didn't just give permission to Terri's husband, I would think, that should be sufficient to allow Jeb Bush to pardon Terri.

I don't know why he isn't doing that. Surely someone has thought of it. I know he is trying to do everything possible.

One would assume the governor of Florida would be bound by the laws of the state.

"One" might - - but the more fevered Freepers apparently don't. Me, I'd love to see a "Terminator"-style showdown at the hospice between Jeb's marshalls and Greer's goons. (and bring in a cast of Terri look-alikes; in the confusion, spirit the real one away). Oviously, not even Arnold on the other coast would sponsor something so vigilantee-ish in real life.

Criminal...

Gabriel Keys (foreground) is arrested by police officers for
trespassing in Pinellas Park, Florida, March 23, 2005. The
young protester attempted to take a glass of water into
the Woodside Hospice for the brain-damaged Terri Schiavo.
A federal judge approved the murder of Terri Schiavo by
rejecting a request from her parents to order her feeding
tube reinserted to save her life.

>>But .... I can't see taking Randall Terry on as chief spokesman.<<

Oh I couldn't agree more. I am sorry but that guy is too much of a lightning rod and he is not media savvy.

Do you think they invoked those provisions yesterday for that doctor to go in?Served the notice today and the hearing is tomorrow?
If that is the case why did they not go the emergency removal procedure way? Grab her and let Greer throw a fit later.
How can he then enforce an order for her to be returned.

Jeb should take physical custody of Terri, and threaten to arrest any judge who seeks to take direct control of the police to order to achieve a different outcome. And he should in fact arrest the judge(s) if/when they move to reassert direct control of the police.

You offer nothing but stuff like this, and I know why. It's because you can't seriously answer my questions. You're just operating on pure emotion and imagination.

Done with this.

You have summed it up very well. I heard that Larry Klayman was with Randall Terry this afternoon which did not make me feel any better.

I wondered why they didn't have anyone involved with the disabilities act on their team as well. It is like Terry didn't want to be overshadowed by anyone.

Greer has no goons which is in the end the Achilles heel of the judiciary.

Well, the governor has the right to commute the death sentence of convicted criminals, so why can't he do the same for an innocent person?

I don't know, but I firmly believe that if he had a legal option to do that, he would have, rather than trying to find backdoor solutions.

The judge specifically ordered Terri killed, he didn't just give permission to Terri's husband, I would think, that should be sufficient to allow Jeb Bush to pardon Terri.

Legal language is very specific. I would question whether a "pardon" can apply to a person who hasn't been convicted of a crime. There seems to be little written in Florida law that can be used to rescue her - and that's a problem that has been highlighted by this case. We can't blame Jeb Bush for that, because he's tried to correct it.

I know he is trying to do everything possible.

I know that, too. He is her advocate. I wish people would lay off him and get behind him, but as my dad used to say, "Wish in one hand..."

I understand we are all in this together. Greer would not let any testimony in unless it was in MS favor, from family members, friends, nurses, neurologist. Was he breaking laws - is that what he should do? MS has no right being her guardian - a true conflict of interest - yet he is guardian. A unbiased judge would not have continue along this path.

I'm am fizzling out. I have to be up in 4 hours.

Good night.

I stand by my statement.

But to give you more insight into my meaning, Faith is powerful. Prayer is powerful. I grant all this. But on our own we have no power next to this evil. Our strength comes from God. Understand? I'm not dismissing the power of prayer and fast, nor denying we have a duty to defend life. I'm simply acknowledging the origin of that strength doesn't come from me but Him.

As to what Jeb must do, that is between him, his conscience and God. It's been recommended he intervene. Maybe he will. Maybe he won't. If he doesn't I don't believe it will be the result of political cowardice, but rather that is not the role God wished him to play. Of course we are all entitled to have our different views on that, but at the end of the day I respect him and do not hold him accountable anymore than I do myself and us all.

This is my main argument. I have no once argued against pursuing measures to save her life, even had severe arguments with those contending we are justified to order starvation of an innocent. Where i draw the line is in the manner Jeb and the other Republicans are being treated. they haven't earned this.
