Well, at some point we have to rely on the judgement of care by those who are appointed legal guardians. I do find it odd that there are so many people who say "we should have this test done" or "we should have that test done" when not one of those people are legal guardians of poor Terri Schiavo.

It think it's called "Monday morning quarterbacking" but the game's only at the two minute warning.

Well, you see, I have a little problem with her "legal" guardian. I think there might be a tiny bit of conflict there what with the adulterious relationship he's been in for the past 7 years and the two illigitimate kids he's sired on her. Might also have a little to do with him dumping her in a hospice right after he got the malpractice settlement too.

Next thing you know they will be shuttling all kinds of people off to the hospice. AIDS patients will be diagnosed....poof....off to the hospice to be starved to death. A little senile? BAM, hospice and food withheld. Anyone who could be considered a burden can just be disposed of. All they have to do is have someone say "yeah, I heard him/her say once in a conversation that they wouldn't want to live like that" and all legal requirements will have been met. Good way to get rid of an unwanted partner, huh? Don't even have to worry about all that community property and stuff.
