That I don't know, but the Noble-prize nominated neurologist did.

Today, an affidavit from neurologist Dr. Cheshire who recently spent several hours with her, I believe, and concluded that more likely than not, she is not in a PVS.

Doctors can disagree. A life is in the balance.

I've read that certain tests availale now can show dispotiviely if she is in a PVS. Why not run them?

Winning a Nobel prize is a big deal. Simply being nominated is not. This is not like the Oscars where there are only a handful of nominees.

The list of those eligible to nominate includes former laureates, selection committee members, members of any national government or legislature, university professors and selected non-profit organizations. You could probably get your cat nominated if you worked at it.

"...but the Noble-prize nominated neurologist did"

Jimmy Carter got a Nobel prize. They're worthless.

Dr. H wasn't nominated by his piers, he nominated by a politician, Rep. Bilirakis. Bilirakis has also been known to donate his unused campaign funds to the hospice which houses Terri. His son, Gus, is on the Board with Felos.
