You are kind and your heart is in the right place. However, I believe you are wrong. Here are a few reasons:

Because she is dying. The governor dealt with the issue the last time she was, also.

They have. Affidavits were filed by numerous physicians and a few nurses.

No proof - hearsay. Her friend and parents testified to the opposite.

"I am outraged with Congress. I believe in the separation of powers. It is not it's place to stick it's nose into the issue of Ms. Schiavo."
Article III of the Constitution gives Congress the right. Article IV states what is to be considered the Supreme Law of the land. The judiciary is conspicuously absent, but Congress is included along with the document itself and treaties.

Thank you for your thoughtful comment. It has become quite contentious on the Free Republic threads. I have just found myself at the other end of some pretty evil comments, to call me a murderer in the past for how I am approaching this issue is really beyond the pail. So I sit on pins and needles hoping that I say and offer something that can be discussed and perhaps offering me insight to what I do not know.

I know their actions come from the heart, though struggling with that one. It has been many years and frankly if she were not getting the care or that she received not only bad care when she first collapsed. If one can get the protective services to enter at this time they must have had something to pursue this long ago. Of course this is from an insider looking in. As for Congress, I understand your points and will it at that.
