A state judge issued an emergency order Wednesday to keep the Department of Children & Families from taking any action that would reconnect Terri Schiavo’s feeding tube. George Felos, the attorney for Michael Schiavo, asked Pinellas Circuit Judge George Greer to issue the order Wednesday while the judge considers a request from DCF and Gov. Bush to take custody of Terri Schiavo.

The tales often are in pairs, though -- one tells a story about another type in the party, and then the victim tells one right back in revenge. IIRC, the Reeve told a story about two students who spend the night with a miller, and make whoopee with both his daughter and his wife. So the Miller tells a tale about a reeve.
Someone asked if they would take Terri and the Gov asked the attorney to step up to the mike and respond just to make sure the response would be correct. The attorney said they COULD do it. Then she said "That is all I will say." So, what happened after all of that I don't know but maybe yu could catch it on the internet somewhere. Maybe someone else out there could explain it further.
Did you see the late news item from Tampa TV, where Greer has just admitted he made a mistake in his basis for rejecting the "Karen Quinlan" testimony where Terri said she did NOT want to be offed. This is counter-testimony to the key base of the case for the impending homicide, but Greer claims it doesn't change anything!

Oh, see, I didn't get that upon my first reading, which was only a couple of years ago and I was just proud of myself for getting through it. I think my favorite was the one where in order to sleep with the guys wife, the wife and paramour convince him that the next deluge is about to happen and he must sleep in a tub at the top of the house. I don't remember much more but it was grand.

Agreed. Greer has been practicing legal tyranny throughout this case. It is time he paid a price for this. Sentence him to 90 days in solitary with no food or water.

I'm sure they can but who's gonna actually do it? They can't even see their way clear to save a suffering woman from her captors. Impeachment is much less clear-cut.
