But if the memo is a fake, The Washington Post wants to be the one to break the story. That about sum it up?

In addition to possible fraud this is a phoney issue. Senators get lots of mail and memos and this thing means little/ proves little. And I'm sure the democrats never see any discussions of politics (sarcasm off).

Looks, again, like another amateurish forgery.
Wonder if it has been posted on the Boston Sun's 'chat' forum?

But the burden now is clearly on ABC and the Washington Post to explain why they are not the victims of a hoax.

So is this blog post getting around on the Internet? It's kind of worrying that it's not getting that much attention here.

This is TOTALLY a payback for the Guard Memo. When these turn out to be fake, they Left will trot out the "Fake, but accurate" B.S. they love so much.

I thought this would be HOT.It was duly trotted out on every talk show, talking head show and political hack show on TV and radio. It got no traction, ie. did no damage, therefore nobody really cares to discredit it.
Since Rathergate, most people are leary of these sort of "bombshell" memos. They know they're fake.

I'm just hearing about it. Everyone is on Terri threads. Maybe this story should be on those threads, that way more people will see it and start asking questions.
The word on this story is not out on full throttle on FR.

I think SeeBS 60 Minutes should immediately launch a 5 year investigation into this matter! If they really bust their ass, they can have a special report slamming Republicans ready for the first week of September, 2008.

Don't the Democrats have a Shiavo memo, as well?
It states that there is no need to fix social security because they can filibuster any potential judge in the Senate that won't kill the infirm - thereby keeping social security solvent forever./
