Life isn't fair, and life doesn't throw the punches we all wish it did. But we must not allow someone who doesn't meet our standards of rationality to be literally starved and thrown away. This isn't about the right to die with dignity, this is a case someone choosing to kill another with the court's blessing.

You are correct. Terri choose to end her life instead of living like a vegetable. You would do the same. Or is "living" to you following a mickey mouse balloon around?

Hey man, Sarah Scantlin was in a vegetative state until she came out 2/11/2005. After that, it was stated she was mis-diagnosed, that she was really in a coma. You would just bury her alive and say oh well sorry 'bout that.

So it's okay with you to starve a woman who has become disabled. How do you suggest we treat people who are born disabled? Should there be a panel to decide which lives are worthy of being lived? And then what?
