Why file criminal charges? The case will be tried by the "evil judiciary". If the 11th circuit had ruled against the state courts everyone would have been happy. Do you think that Congress actually thought this would happen? You have all been played by Washington politicians. They knew that there was no way that the federal courts would come in and overule the state courts on this issue. It never made any sense.
Man the barricades if you must, but I wonder how many people on this site would like their spouse or themselves to "live" for 30 or 40 years in the condition of Terri Schiavo. I hope that the people who know and love me as I am would know that there is no way I would like to be kept like a house plant just to say I'm alive. We have turned this woman's life into an icon, a golden calf. May her soul rest in piece!

It won't happen to you by those that know and love you - because they would give you range of motion, therapy, interaction, good medical care, take you out in the sunshine. You end up like this w/no care and she is still very much capable of living a productive life but her 'guardian' says no - not a loved one - just a guardian.
