My kids would still learn a valuable lesson by watching what happens to me, without the need to actually be arrested, cuffed, processed etc...

I can understand your concern, and as a parent you have every right to lead you family in that way.

My point is that the father of this family chose to take this action and it is admirable in many respects. You also have to realize that this family most likely home-schools (there are a lot of telltale signs) and it is not uncommon to teach "life lessons" in this way.

I know, and so do the left-wing parents of children - it's not an uncommon sight to see children being used by liberals to "make a point" or to "teach a life lesson" and I've always criticized them for doing that with their children, and so I will remain consistent...
