You're kidding, right?
How is having a colostomy in any way similar to Terri's case.
People with a colostomy can presumably think and reason and hear and talk. They have cognitive abilities. Their mind is not affected at all.
Their bodies are functioning and moving and walking and working and exercising.
Terri cannot do any of those things.
Have you googled Persistent Vegetative Status?
