Call me a bad father if you must...but my son...who is a Boy Scout working on his Eagle Scout...who is very involved in his Church youth group came to me and said he wanted to do something like this...knowing the risks...I'd be very hard pressed to tell him no.

It depends. Looking at this situation, I'd probably tell the 10-year-old boy he's too young. If he's 13 or 14, I might take him with me.

I certainly wouldn't allow the 14-year-old girl to do it. But, I tend to be rather old-fashioned that way.
