I must be on a different planet...most FReepers are completely comitted to keepin gtheir children SAFE. I know I am. There is NO WAY IN HELL I'd use my son in this manner, NONE. Any parent who does is IMHO an abuser.
Kids are NOT there to be props in anyone's protest drama. And saying that "The kids WANT to do it" is patent BS. These same parents wouldn't DREAM of letting the kids do this if this was a cause they disagreed with.
These kids were placed there and put up to this by their nutjob parents. America didn't put them there, not society, not the judges, nobody except parents so carried away on emotion that they are failing to protect their own children.
It is the parents, and all those egging them on, who are responsible for those shackles. No one else. And it is unforgiveable.

And when liberals use their children to further their agendas, we call THEM "unfit parents." It's nice to know that some homeschooled children are being taught it's ok to break the law, sometimes.
This is unforgivable. I've never seen such stupidity as I've seen on FR in the last week. Ever. I told my husband it's been a learning experience.
I have had people tell me that then Christopher Reeve should have been left to die. That people with coloscopy bags should be left to die. They act as though that is what is happening here or what I want. It's beyond sad. It's downright pathetic.
And now using these kids in this manner is a disgrace.
