Janet Reno went & snatched Elian - he was not a criminal either

Yes, and I would wager that everyone on this board disagreed with her. Under what authority could Bush send the National Guard in to essentially kidnap her?

I think it is interesting that usually conservatives rail against privacy rights violations, government interference in states' rights, and consistently laugh at the left for their "conspiracy theories". But advocating all of those things is all I read on these threads.

She has a right to live, and so did Elian. What is a privacy right, btw?

I forgot to include the caveat "Elian was not being starved by his family" when he was "rescued by Janet's posse"

The media did not criticize Reno or Clinton for snatching Elian from his US family, nor do I remember any judges standing in the doorway protecting Elian or his family.

Double standards again.

If she dies of dehydration, there won't be any privacy rights to violate.
