On Fox News Channel, Martha McCallum just announced that Florida governor Jeb Bush will make a statement on the Terri Schiavo case at 3 PM EST.
Yes.
Now your mad. Temper tantrum. Won't work.
Go back through your Pings. Read from the one to Mo1 on down through.
Sooner or later you will understand.
I guess it's one of those things, where if it actually has to be said on any lower a level, you wouldn't understand.
You will understand it. Sooner or later.
When you mature.
That is blatantly false and I will not let you get away with it. Have you read Wolfson's report to Jeb Bush about this whole situation. It's 38 pages, it gives the history, what was been done, the timeline etc. It's interesting and informative and written in a very straightforward, sensitive manner. I suggest you read it and then we'll talk again. Because as long as you twist the facts, I can't debate it. I'm saying that respectfully, I'm not trying to be confrontational about it. If you need a link, please let me know or I can email you the .pdf and that offer goes to anyone who really, once and for all, want to know the facts of this case.
When I mature???? ROLFMAO!!!! OK. I'm going back to planet Earth right now...see ya.
Yes .. Like I said, I take my vows before God seriously
Through sickness and in health ... regardless
He is my husband and I will not abandon him .. especially during the hard times
Well, I am with you that I would want him to move on, but I would want him, make that, expect him to do the right thing and dissolve the marriage first.
I can honestly say that I would do that for my husband, my best friend, my partner for life. And to hear him talk, he'd do the same thing too.
Believe it or not, there are folks out there who really meant it when they said "in sickness and in health, for better for worse, til death do us part."
Excellent choice of words.

You go, guy!
Goodness.
Causes me to wonder just HOW messy is the situation in that particular Hospice sitting.
NOTE: Not insulting Hospices in general!
Makes me wonder how far up the hospital/city/county/....food chain the trouble goes...
Question:
I'm afraid to watch the tv. As I value it and don't want to frighten my dogs by them hearing me yell at it!
Can anyone tell me any news?
Spare me a trip to the tv, because the chips would be the next stop.
Hildy .. Let me tell you a little story ...
My father was diagnosed with cancer when I was 3 years old .. The doctors told my mother at the time he will not live more the 48 hours after being rushed to the hospital.
They were wrong ... he survive to live another 5 years .. During this 5 years he was in and out of hospitals till he died
My mother cared for him and his ALL medical problems while also caring for their 7 children
There were many many many people that told her she walk away .. put us kids in foster homes and get on with her life
She did not do that because she also honored her commitment before God to her husband
Mo1,
You sound like a very mature, loving and realistic individual. It was a privilege to read your comments.
I also believe that if a spouse cannot handle a severe, debilitating condition in a loved one, then he/she should have the courage to admit his shortcomings and "move on" by divorce and the transfer of guardianship and trust funds to another willing family member or guardian. Why is that logic and decency so hard to accept?
Again, thank you for your comments.

It's apples and oranges, I'm talking about a choice you would make when you're 24 years old because that's how old she was when this happened.
Did you know that the Terri went to live her parents in 1991 and they brought her back to the home about two weeks later because they couldn't take care of her?
Hildy,
UM, exactly what grade did your debating teacher/motivator give you?
I realize I have been out of school (decades, alas!) and understand grades are not quite what they used to be (in the days of the early Fords), but I am curious.
That reminds me.
What does that grouping of letters mean?
I'm learning (with much help) what the abbreviations mean but have not come accros that in any sentence structure in which I can understand what it means.
It means "rolling on floor laughing my a-- off." :)
Thank you.
It explains much good.
Blessings.
Now stop it, Freecopper. The forum is Hildy's freeping tube, do not remove it under penalty of death.
Sorry Hildy - but it was just out there, begging like a homeless person. I trust you have a sense of humor.
