The other thing that really bothers me is that modern medicine has changed since 1992. DNA testing has proved court convicted criminals were innocent after years of wronged imprisonment. Why wasn't Terri permitted to have a swallow test? Why can't she have an MRI or other modern tests? There's too much here that doesn't pass the smell tests to say they've exhausted all "legal" options. The courts are just reviewing old stuff.

My understanding is that an MRI cannot be done because of a medical procedure done on Terri early on. Thats what was reported on FNC

Even if Terri made such a statement, a feeding tube was not considered medical treatment until the law changed in 1999. Did they make it retroactive to include her?
