We desperately need a return to fundamental principles in this case. There is yet time for Jeb to act.
What I REALLY want to know is why no one has asked for a jury to hear this case?
Does not the US Constitution GUARANTEE a right to a trial by a jury in all matters involving $20 or more? Is not a life worth AT LEAST $20?
From the 7th amendment:
In suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved...
