Familiar in that the governor who let that happen is unlikely to do anything impolite or tacky to prevent this woman from being starved to death.

I am ashamed of my Country and those in charge for letting this happen. They all have blood on their hands. Someone must step up and do the right thing for Terri.
There is a categorical difference between abducting a child and sending it into the clutches of a Communist dictatorship and saving the life of a woman whose father and mother don't want her dead. The comparison to the Elian story are absolutely and patently absurd.
