Why is Medicaid paying for this? Why don't they come back and ask that she be moved back to a facility that cares for people that are not dying. Makes no sense to me. If the Government is paying for her then can't they say what happens to her?
Thanks. Yes I know it must be six months or less, signed by a physician. My sister elected that as she was dying in end stage CHF about six months ago. The hospice people would not talk to us until the doctor signed. Medicare pays for hospice but not long term care. This aspect of this situation should surely be explained to the public.
