That's what I'm thinking, tutstar ... protective custody might not mean removing Terri because of her condition, but taking custody and keeping her where she is, under medical supervision. That would not violate Greer's order not to remove her ... OHhhh I hadn't even thought of that!! But what about putting in the feeding tube? wouldn't that have to be done in the hospital??

Bedside surgery could be done, perhaps. But she might not be a candidate until she's stabilized by IV.
