Eternal Father, have mercy.
Ojcze nasz, ktorys jest w niebie, swiec sie imie Twoje, przyjdz krolestwo Twoje, badz wola Twoja, jako w niebie, tak i na ziemi. Chleba naszego powszedniego daj nam dzisiaj i odpusc nam nasze winy jako i my odpuszczamy naszym winowajcom. I nie wodz nas na pokuszenie, ale nas zbaw ode zlego. Amen.

Two Marys: (meditation and a prayer)
How thick the crowd must have seemed,
Mary of Nazareth,
as you threaded your way
in that numbing timelessness
that comes with crisis,
each second seeming to last minutes,
your son,
your son,
his beautiful face,
swollen,
bleeding, battered,
breaking your heart.
How much you must have wanted to scream
NONONONONO!
Don't let this be today,
now,
at this moment,
ever,
even though you knew he was given to you
for just this purpose,
and the sword you felt
had been fortold long ago.
How hard it must have been
not to throw yourself at the guards,
to some how get them to stop,
to let him rest,
to give him a chance
to change his mind
and make this all a nightmare.
And yet, you merely told God
Your will be done,
and continued on,
giving all you had
until the end
and darkness fell.
Another Mary
loves her daughter,
so at risk
from the hands of those who would say
she has no rights,
no mind,
no heart,
no love.
And yet,
she has seen her smile
and touched her face,
and tried, o so hard.
and yet now, she watches the smile fade to dust,
because of the cruelty of man.
O Jesus, remember all mothers
forced to watch
the deaths of their children
at another's hand,
and have mercy on them.
Open the doors for Terri,
who you have made the living martyr
a witness against those
who would cheapen the gift of life,
and hold both Terri and her family close to your heart.
Amen.
Heavenly Father, hearts are joined around the world crying out to you.
On our knees, with tears in our eyes, we beg for the life of Terri, that she be restored to Life and the Love of her family.
Bless Joanna, who is gathered with us here in this place.
Eternal Father, have mercy.
