While the President is not legally helpless, I can't blame him as I blame the Governor. This is Jeb's mess. A helpless woman is being killed in Jeb's state. Rogue judges are perverting the system and Jeb is an accomplice to that too.
If Jeb cannot see his way to call out the troops, where are the militia that the 2A proponents are always talking about? If Americans are already willing to surrender their disabled women without a fight, I believe their arms and all their liberties are no more precious.
When the judges come for those, will our leaders sit on their hands this way? Of course they will.

They could start with five or ten people. I would imagine it would grow in intensity. That, against the backdrop of people trying to give her a glass of water for her thirst, will speak volumnes as a news image.
I agree. By ohiowfan's nickname, her respect for W is obvious. I like him and Jeb too. But, they have the duty to protect not just America or the state of Florida as a whole, but individual Americans and Floridians.
Should Terri be killed, W's calls to provide freedom to the Iraqis, Afghans, etc. will ring hollow when he wouldn't take steps he's empowered to do to save the life on one disabled American woman.
He has sworn an oath to uphold and defend the U.S. Constitution. That doesn't mean he's protecting a piece of paper. That means he's upholding and protecting the laws of the United States, which includes the individual rights of every American. President Bush has the power of the executive order, which he can exercise should he wish to do so. Jeb has sworn the same sort of oath to Florida.

I will share the story of my duaghter, i need the relief,, forgive me for typos.
she is 6
she has begged to come home on the bus and not go to after school anymnore
i told her that today was the day she would get to start coming home- but i forgot to write the note to her teachers..
she wrote the note herself!
gave it to her teachers and said I wrote it!
it said she gets to rider the bus home the rest of the year. and she signed my name and spelled it wrong...
she insisted I wrote it.. the teachers thought it was hilarious and so cute...
i know what she did was wrong, but i find it cute too.. i can't wait to see the note...
i feel bad i forgot to write the note for her... i will not be getting any "mother of the year" awards.. that's for sure...
