The courts created this "right of the husband...." I wonder when this right will be applied to a wifes lack of a will? ....Where is the living will that formally documents the wishes of the wife?

I'm not a Florida lawyer, but I understand that in such situations, the spouse is the default guardian. The legislature could have made the parents the guardian, but they have chosen not to.

Doesn't matter if there is a living will or not. Even if there was, and even IF there were video showing her saying she didn't want to be hooked up to a torture device for 15 bloody years, some of you cats would still be screaming and hollering if it were quite clear this is what she wanted. Its like a martyr fetish or something. Very strange indeed.
