The law treats these cases differently, but why should it?
And if the law fails us, we have no access to justice, no access to peaceful recourse...then there will be other than peaceful recourse. This goes beyond the right to life.

I know for a fact that if this was my sister, Mikey would spend the rest of his worthless life sucking oatmeal through a straw and filling his depends. I doubt there are to many on FR that would let the Judicial System aid and abet the murder of their own.

Of course, usually the majority of people have no problem letting those folks starve their kids, which would explain the polls.
