I've been trying to find a link to that recording. At the video/audio section of the abc news website, there is a link to a Nightline discussion of Terri's case (the column all the way to the right, third link down). I'm wondering if that contains this audio?
Interestingly, it won't play, though that might be because it's overloaded.

cyncooper replied that the recording took place shortly after the tube was removed so the moaning and gurgling could not have been as a result of the tube being removed. But - it still sounded awful and it could have been an attempt by her to communicate and resist what was happening.
