You go to war with the army you have, not the army you want.Pence only has twenty people in congress willing to do what needs to be done in regards to spending.Pence is the only hope against socialism, but it will be a long war with many battles. It will not be won overnight. We need more conservatives in congress. As far as playing the hand he has been dealt, Pence gets an A+.

I'm very curious about who those 20 fellow Reps are...I've asked this question before, but no one would answer. Does anybody know? I wonder if John Boozman (my Rep.) is one of them.

Here are the near perfect ones:
John Shadegg
Todd Akin
Gresham Barrett
Jeff Flake(except immigration)
Jeb Hensarling
Gil Gutknecht
Tom Tancredo
Marylin Musgrave
Ron Paul
Patrick McHenry
Jim Ryun
Dan Burton
Scott Garrett
Walter Jones
Tom Feeney
Jeff Miller
Trent Franks
Ernest Istook
John Culberson
Charles Norwood
Honorable mention
jeff Hostettler
Steve Cabot
Jerry Moran
Jo Ann Emerson
Marsha Blackburn
Paul Ryan
There are about 15 others who are solid on most issues but not all.
If we had 218 members like those mentioned above, even you would be happy with the result.

Thanx for the list, I appreciate that.

Yes, call me a perfectionist if you will, that's ok. I just think that those who make our laws should obey the SUPREME law that they swear an Oath to, that's all. It aggravates me the folks who say they believe in smaller government & call themselves "conservative" vote for members of Congress who follow the Constitution only 50-60% of the time (or less!) ...& do it time & time again.

"He is one of the leaders of the coalition that wants to abolish the IRS."

Well...that alone makes him the front runner in my book.
