Neocons are statists and their communist origins means they believe in the inherent maleability of human nature. And they seek to use the state to guide human nature in the manner they want it. If evolution is true, then that would mean human nature is constant, as you cannot just legislate away millions of years of biological natural selection and thousands of years of cultural selection.
