You make an excellent point; a better analogy is that this type of thinking would allow any caregiver to keep food and water just out of reach of a child---and see them starve (or, I guess it's dehydrate which is "not painful"/ sarcasm). Their problem they don't have the power to feed themselves.

Exactly. And all this person would need to do so is custody and their opinion as to what those in their custody really wants.

I sit here driking water and eating bread, and yet I feel guilty while we sit and watch our gov't starve Terri.

Her husband tried to kill her and he is getting away with murder right in front of all the world to see.

If your a christian you would not allow this to happen
