He is certainly ignoring the intent of Congress. It shows that judges are CONFIDENT they can still ARROGANTLY rule as they please.

Though I agree with you that some Judge rule as they arrogantly please

But that is not true about congress

Congress didn't say he had to review this case .. just that he could review it

and he chose not to, thinking maybe: well, hey they recalled Congress, the President of these United States flew from Texas back to the White House and signed the bill in the middle of the night, so I could review the case de nova -- but they didn't say I HAD to! Geesh! Congress and the President indicated that they viewed this as an extraordinary situation requiring extraordinary measures . . . he treats it as business as usual, parsing legalisms . . .

He did not even extend ordinary courtesy to the efforts of the other two branches of government who acted on an emergency basis. He waited 24 hours . . . a slap in the face to the Executive and Legislative Branches.
