If every church or religious sect did that, we should expect and, indeed, want every judge to be expelled from his denomination, as I expect and want every judge to put the secular law above his church teachings when he puts on his robes and rules from the bench.

You have just called for the ousting for every secular judge on the bench, secularism is a religion and it is NOT Constitutional. Only those Christian hating publicans have status, I think NOT!

Christ did foretell US all things.

In this case, it is doubtful that the secular law was faithfully applied. Rather, it appears to have been subverted to achieve the preferred outcome.
