It is a sad day for humanity. The angels are weeping from heaven. This all started from Roe vs Wade, now where will it lead.......To all who think starving someone to death who is handicap is a rightful thing, may God have mercy on your souls. May God have mercy on all of us......

The right of an innocent person to their life supersedes the state's "right" to take it, and is integeral to a republican form of government, which the Federal government is charged with maintaining among the several states.

This is going to be a huge trauma for this country..ABC had better hope their poll stating that most people think Terri should be put to death are accurate..People often change their mind with further information. Many people might be thinking of breathing machines and other kinds of artificial life support when they consider the question. Often, people do not understand the simple concept of a feeding tube. It is not an extraordinary measure. In fact, Terri should be allowed food by mouth now, the denial of which is another indication of the determination of her husband and the court to kill her.

I guess I'll just have to slink away and find some place else to post my opinion, if it's not respected here.

If you post something contrary to the majority, you must expect to be harrangued. That you would slink away like a coward as opposed to standing up and take your beating like a man speaks volumes.

Fox News is reporting that the judge will not hold any more hearings in the entire case, that the appeal has no merits and no chance for success.

We could blame all the judges, all the courts, the dimocrats, and whoever else but the bottom line there is only one person on the entire face of the earth to blame and that person who is ultimately responsible for this death is MICHAEL!

Put the blame where it belongs. Put the anger, name calling, hostility where it belongs MICHAEL!

Speaking of equal protection, does Terri have an equal protection claim? When similar cognitively impaired kids are being put through the school system to normalize their lives despite their disabilities, yet Terri wastes away in hospice with no stimulation, sunshine, therapy etc, doesn't that violate equal protection?

Tell me, why is it that Michael suddenly had the revelation that his wife didn't want a feeding tube EIGHT YEARS after she collapsed?

I think what MS has to gain from her death is relief,,imagine you have done a great wrong to another. The wrong could be anything from strangling her, from making her life a hell, from secretly wanting her to die so you had her money, from betraying her.

Imagine all that. And the evidence, the living breathing human you did the wrong to, demands your time because you have to keep watching and keeping others from helping her.

The woman, terri, lives and breathes and haunts MS, she stands in his way of forgetting and going on to the next part of his life. She is a testament, a monument, to his misdeeds.

She has to die so he can move along.

hearsay evidence

We have a court finding. Reviewed on appeal. Lots of courts. Many cases. Fifteen years. Are you so paranoid that you believe there is absolutely no competence in the judicial system at any level? No, seriously. That's how you and many others around here are talking.

Are you going to demand impeachment for Jeb or W if National Guard or Fed Marshals aren't sent to forcibly reinsert the tube?

It would take evidence or the case gets thrown out. Real hardcore evidence. Not lies and distortions and heresay propagated on Internet forums

Ahhh, I see now. The only hearsay allowed is that which says it was Terri's wish to starve to death, recalled shortly after Michael won the malpractice lawsuit.

Just heard on Fox, Terri hasn't had a "swallow test" since 1992. No one has any idea if she's able to eat/drink on her own.

Astonishing.

Why don't you break down for us exactly how much was spent for Terri's care,
and how much he spent on legal actions to have her euthanised, so he could
"move on"?

Tell me, why is it that Michael suddenly had the revelation that his wife didn't want a feeding tube EIGHT YEARS after she collapsed?

Because he met another woman and decided that he was tired of taking care of his ill wife so rather than divorce her he decided it would be better to let her die.

He totally obliterated his marriage vows.

Not astonishing at all. This isn't about Terri. This is about the world the left wants.

"The family should remove her from the facility forthwith"

Really? And how should they do that against the armed guards Mikey has around her.

"They should have instructed their attorney to bring some sort of proceeding to sever the matrimonial bonds if need be,"

I believe they tried that (I could me mistaken on this) and were told they had no standing.

Nurses have, according to their own depositions, surreptitiously fed her ice chips and jello, which Terri swallowed without assistance. It's not an "official" swallow test, but it does indicate that she might not need the stomach tube to eat.

The crux is what you stated!

The only hearsay is MS's hearsay.
