To: Mo1
It means that the judge is directly defying an act of Congress which explicitly extended jurisdiction.

This is the Florida Supreme Court--not U.S. District Court.

This is the Florida State Supreme Court, not the Federal Court. You need to ask the moderators to update the title before all you know what breaks loose here.
To: thoughtomator
No, just to clarify, this is not an order from the Federal District Court. This is an FL. Sup. Ct. issued order dealing with the earlier petition filed with the FL Supreme Ct. by the House of Rep. attys.
To: bd476
If this is authentic, it is a kick in the arse to Congress! What a jerk to hold off this long! It has not been reported on news or anything.

No, this is a Florida Supreme Court decision. Still no word from the U.S. District Court judge.

This has to do with the House subcommittee's subpoena of Michael and Terri Schiavo. |
