MRIs would reveal which "parts" were physically present. PETs would reveal which "parts" were functioning. Both would be valid. Thank you. I have been amazed by the people who want to rely on old data and methods to base a "fatal" decision. I do not want any doctor of mine to make a diagnosis without using all available technology. In 1981 I got CAT scans and X rays because that's *all* that locally existed at the time.
My podunk rural hospital didn't even do any surgery to relieve the intra-cranial pressure from a massive buildup of post-trauma fluid...they couldn't because there weren't any surgeons capable of doing such "dangerous" surgery then.
Technology has advanced at a nearly miraculous rate and she should have the opportunity to make use of it.
Why can't HINO give her over to others for even a -year-, just to see what -can- be done, if he "loves" her so damn much?
The obvious, logical answer...he doesn't -want- her to get well.
