I think the law Bush signed was way different from the Schiavo case.

It's called "Texas Futile Care Law" and doesn't address vegetative cases. Google it and read it. Go to the source.

I have no idea what you mean by "the law Bush signed," and with all due respect, I don't think that you do either.

If you are referring to Texas Health & Safety Code Section 166.044 LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR WITHHOLDING OR WITHDRAWING OF LIFE SUSTAINING PROCEDURES, which is the statute relied upon by Texas Childrens Hospital in denying care to this baby, that law was passed in 1989, long before Bush became governor of Texas. This law is not called "the futile care law," although that is most assuredly what it addesses.

I don't think that we are really at odds on this issue, it's just that I know what I am talking about because I deal with it daily and you are just googling stuff on the internet. Rest assured that now President then Governor Bush had no responsibility whatsoever for this revolting law.
