Yes, that is my feeling as well. I am afraid that they are betting that when Terri dies, this media attention will go away and America will again focus on really important things, like MJ, baseball drugs, what Scott Peterson is having for lunch....

This is horrible, and I beg all of you to think hard about what your reaction will be to her death. What will you do? Will you demand changes to our system, that will stop this from happening again? Big questions for us, folks, how will we answer? I believe that life on Earth is a test, will we pass?

I hope you are wrong but it seems like you are right. Again, I bring up what comedian Mort Sahl said a long time ago on WNBC when he subbed for talkshow host Joe Pine one November night in 1967. Sahl was dead serious too. He said "there are not enough evil men" to wrought damage to our country so they depending on a huge "army of indifferent men" who do their bidding by default by doing nothing. Because of that, the "Social Democrats" get away with their deeds. I do think down the road, we are headed for a showdown between good and evil. I know Terri's case lit a fire under my butt to write my Congress Critters. Sahl did end his comment like, "don't con me, I know my history too, the question is, how long do we have left to write any?"
