If the Clintons don't kill you, their judicial appointments will.

This judge has to clear anything he rules with the Clintons. I'm sure that if they saw the great debate last evening that both of them noticed that the Democratic party is rapidly killing itself.

So, how long does a phone call take?

The judge obviously intends to murder Terri, and obstruct the will of Congress and the President.

This is a Clinton appointed judge, a democrat "activist" judge. Hence he is corrupt and urinates on justice.

He will sit down for a gourmet meal tonight, with the finest wine and food, while Terri starves to death. He is a democrat.

It appears this judge is going to stretch this out.

"I think you'd be hard-pressed to convince me that you have a substantial likelihood" of the parents' lawsuit succeeding, the judge said.

What the hell is with this foot dragging? The Judge is going to let them slowly torture and murder this woman, the justification being that the parent's probably wouldn't win a lawsuit after they sucessflly murder her with a Judge and the state of FL's blessing?

Is his primary consideration a LAWSUIT? And he will let her be murdered at the hands of the state, if he thinks it wouldn't result in successful litigation? Is that what I am picking up here?

I have a bad feeling he is hoping she passes away before he has a chance to rule. One of the parents' lawyers was just on and said Terri isn't doing well. Don't know how this guy can live with himself.

Applying the normal standards for an injunction (substantial liklihood of prevailing on the merits) is ludicrous in this case. Without it, the case will be rendered moot, and the person dead. Since the matter is de novo, it strikes me that the judge would have a hard time really knowing how it will turn out, given that the previous evidence cannot be taken cognizance of, and even if declarations can be, that does not afford demeanor evidence and cross examination.

""I think you'd be hard-pressed to convince me that you have a substantial likelihood" of the parents' lawsuit succeeding, the judge said."

The point was a "de novo" hearing, i.e. starting NEW and fresh, and keeping Terri alive, so someone can hear the new case and rule on it, NOT deciding the case, while Terri is dying of thirst and hunger. The judge shouldn't expect to be convinced of whether the parents' lawsuit succeeds, only that Terri had no representation of her own, which is already painfully obvious.

It's all on Jeb, if this fails. He can send the Guard in and keep it a state matter.

Jeb Bush needs to act now to save Terri. This is ridiculous. The Congress of the United States of America has been crapped on by this federal judge. It's pretty apparent.

He's just hoping she dies before he has to make a ruling. Simple as that.

I am totally against this bill, but this judge's refusal to rule is inexcusable. It seems that he may be waiting until the issue is "moot" and there is nothing for the appellate court to review.

Oh my God on the news on the radio they just said that the judge said:"the last tome she survived for 6 days without food and water so I have some time?????"
Is he a sadist?

That is a deliberate stalling tactic! Very selective government-sanctioned murder it is! They wouldn't starve Charles Manson or any other criminal though.

No Federal judge will intervene in this case, knowing that Souter, Kennedy, Ginsburg, Breyer & Stevens would pull the tube with their own hands.

It's over.

I just heard this on the news up here.

UNBELIEVABLE.

He's going to rule against her because if he weren't (or if he still didn't have his mind made up) he would have at least called for some IV hydration, as I think Freeper Clara Lou (?) suggested.

Sorry, Clara Lou, if I have the wrong person.

Hey Judge, don't rush or anything, I mean it's not like anybody is starving to death waiting for your decision or anything . . .

You'd think the first thing the guy would do, regardless of where he stood on the issue, is order the tube back in until the matter was settled.

Why make the patient sit there and starve?

What the heck is the matter with us? Last week I was debating somebody on this forum about Putin, and I commented to him that this person completely underestimated what people will do to each other.

Guess the Florida death cult agenda has been decided. They will drag out the federal review process to insure she dies.

I wish someone could explain to me how come Felos and this group win in every instance? Just how powerful is the death cult in Florida.

Again - remember the kind of judicial system you would live under should you decide to retire to Florida.

I would not live there if paid to.
