I see it that way too. The media never stops hammering in the leftist point of view, and the sheep take it as gospel, never realizing there is an agenda, and not believing it if you tell them. I guess it's called conditioning. No surprise that elements of socialism are now seen as American tradition.
I'm just listening to a "liberal" on the radio who called Rush. Naturally, the guy has a prissy voice, you can tell what they're going to say before they say it. I have a fair number of friends who vote Democrat, but they don't like to be called "liberals," somehow they shy from the word -they still follow the party line from TV, though.
