If you must know, Liz was hired because she is easy on the eyes, unlike most women liberals with law degrees.

I wondered about that when I saw her commentary, but I am no lawyer....

She's wrong on most everything. And when pressed she will switch sides and say "Oh, absolutely, I agree!"

Umm, she wont appologize and FOX is pro-Death Squad too, it seems.

They refrain from showing the most powerful videos that show Terri to not be ina PVS.

Still FOX is the best we got going right now.

One side in this debate believes that using extrordinary means to keep her alive IS punishing her.

Bills of attainder, prohibited in Article I, Section 9 of the Constitution, are bills (once a great tool of our brutal English masters) that are cranked up by legislators to punish, not help, specific individuals.

"Only a fanatic Florida state judge and Terri's common-law bigamist "husband" are cheerleading the Death Squad."

This negates any claim of objective analysis.

What did you expect from a member of the ACLU?

I, too, have heard all the bunk about bills of attainder.

www.dictionary.com defines a bill of attainder as:

'A legislative act pronouncing a person guilty of a crime, usually treason, without trial and subjecting that person to capital punishment and attainder.'

or

'a legislative act finding a person guilty of treason or felony without a trial.'

I don't see how Congress' actions fall under these definitions by any stretch of the imagination.

If Michael Schiavp has rights re garding Terri, does that mean he does not have any common law rights regarding his current wife? Is bigamy legal in Florida?

I find it interesting that over 1200 FReepers have read your article regarding what some analyst has to say, but only 156 have read my post that is the actual legislation that was passed. Why are people more interested in b.s. opinion than fact?

Laws that only regard only one legal entity are not uncommon - lobbying efforts result in very narrow laws work their way into the tax code, for example, and the tax regulations, and best as I am aware neither have been found to be unconstitutional.

Does anyone know if an Executive Order from either the President of the U.S or the Govenor of Florida stating that the feeding tube must be reinserted would have to be obeyed.
