Well said. My wife and I have one as well. I feel that Terry's parents are merely selfish and refuse to let her move on.

I find it hard to condemn their actions, letting one of your children go has to be horrible. I can't even imagine having to make that decision for one of my children, it would completely destroy me.

Their decision to pursue keeping her alive I think is based more on their love for her rather than their selfish desires. I can only beleive that they think she may one day come back to them.

I cannot comment in depth on Terri's case, I do not know all the facts and will not pretend to.

What I do know is that having the courts, or government body, make this decision is the worst of all outcomes.
