Actually, having a tube directly implanted into a person's stomach is an "artificial" means since the "normal" way is via the mouth.

She was able to swallow, until her husband insisted she not be fed by mouth but by feeding tube. Strangely, this was about the time Florida law changed the definition of special measures to by adding the use of feeding tubes. Coincidence?

If you had an old and dying dog, would you kill it by denying it water and food? I don't think you are such a monster.

I would need proof of this instead of just a claim without evidence (and Lord knows there's a lot of that going around right now). I've read areport from one of the court-appointed guardians who said Terri was and have always been incapable of swallowing.
