I heard that it was then Governor Bush that signed that bill into law. I head it in the floor debates and on Larry Kings show tonight.
Do some research on that Texas bill and Gov Bush's position on it. It does make for a good sound bite, doesn't it?
Not sure what you are referring to, but Bush didn't sign this bill into law -- he signed a revision in 1999 to the then existing law which already had this provision in it. The revision did not include this obnoxious provision.
