I hate to see it reduced to Terri being a symbol or as a religious victory. It's broader in scope than that to me. There are no doubt some of no religion who might embrace the culture of life.

I totally agree and thank you for making that point. It's uncomfortable to see Terri Schiavo's plight portrayed as exclusively a religious issue. I'm personally acquainted with at least two atheists who are strong advocates and supporters of the Schindler's fight to save the life of their daughter.

This is neither here nor there, but somehow this landed in front of me again, and I was hit with the Schindlers and the movie "Schindler's List".

I wonder if it has come up on this forum. Not that they are necessarily related, but in a way they are. It did start with the disabled during the period the movie depicted.

Thank you for your input and affirmation. Sometimes, I'm gratified when people agree with me (which is seldom except in broad discussions), but that is probably an ego thing. I will work on it.
