I'm gonna write an advance directive that should I ever be incapacitated DON'T EVER PUT ME IN HOSPICE. WHATEVER YOU DO!!!!!!!! Killing fields.
I have only had one experience with a hospice, before my step dad died 6+ years ago. He'd been given 6 months in the summer. He had a weekend in the autumn when we thought he wasn't going to make it and he went to the hospice but got better so they sent him home. He did pass away 3 months later at home.
But it was hard to be at the hospice. Other families were waiting for loved ones to die and we did see someone wheeled out on a gurney covered in a sheet.
I'm sure there are decent ones but Suncoast is going to ruin it for all of them.
